Spellbinders .................
I just love em, in fact I cannot get enough of them, then I discover companies making stamps that match the dies, OOOHHHHH I have gone to heaven LOL.
I have been a poorly person the last week, very nasty Chest Infection, still has not gone away, looks as though I will be going back to the doctors.
I thought I would share what I made last night, I found the initial idea as a card on the internet, but I upped it a bit further and made it into an ornament.
Enjoy

Cards and things for sale................
Yep I have been having a turf out. I have decided to get rid of my Clip it up as I need to room for my ever increasing Spellbinders collection which I have found the perfect storage for ( more info to follow)
I have also made a few cards in the last couple of days, these are mainly samples for Oysterstamps
I have really enjoyed making these. I have found the most delicious card it's called milk touch and it feels like velvet and is embosses beautifully, Heat and cuttlebug versions.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I have making them.

Ouch been an expensive day!
To day has been an expensive day, and nope it was not on craft LOL!!! though I sneaked a quick trip to Picckleberry.
My exhaust on my Big car has has had a really annoying rattle for the last 2-3 months. Well I was in my craft room the other day when my DH (who borrowed the car to go to work) came home, I swear I heard him coming down the lane!
I upped and took the Jalopy to Kwik Fit who quoted me £464.00 to mend it, well you could of picked me up off the floor, I dutifully paid my deposit, then went to the Spray shop to get a quote for fixing the rather large scrape down the side of my car; not my fault this time(DH). Out of curiosity I went into a local whell repair place and asked them how much it would be to fix, well I wish I had gone there first. £200.
Off I went and got my deposit back!
Lesson learned, shop around.

Two posts in one day!!!!!!!!!
I think I may of found my Mojo
Hey there,
Yes it is true I lost my Mojo for a while, hopefully I have now found it again, what caused me to lose it in the first place?
My craft room was....................... It was a mess, there was so much stuff in there I could not move! well I took an afternoon and cleaned it up, I now have space to create again. I cannot get to excited as I have a lot of stamps to clear up first, then the 12 x 12 papers * Shudders *
So Last week I went to a workshop at It was the absolute divine Jennie from The Artistic stamper We created from a very plain and boring pine box a wonderful Christmas display cabinet. I had a blast, met some wonderful ladies adn got very inky in the process..............
I have also been on a card making frenzy, I have made some Christmas cards as samples for Oysterstamps as some of you may not know, I demonstrate Martha Stewart Punches and Spellbinders dies for them across the country, I love it I wish it was my full time job.
Well have a good weekend bye for now

Cuttlebug Quilling.
Is so much fun.
My LSS gave me a set to have a play with and to make samples, I was a bit unsure at first as I remember trying this craft a few years ago and giving up; as to be honest I was completely pants at it LOL, but no more with this nifty gadget I can make beautiful flowers really easily.
Here is one I made yesterday. Sorry for the bad picture, I have installed a different operating system and when I tried to get the images off my Camera, it threw me as it was a different process.
Enjoy

I am so sad..........
My Cuttlebug has gone to Cuttlebug heaven........
This is one tool I use frequently, in fact every day he gets used to make a card with. I bought Colin home when they first came to our shores.
Many Thanks for reading this

Wow...........
I am on the home page of UK Scrappers, for the card that I made for my Son's Girlfriend!
I have never had anything like this before. Thanks Jane for pointing this out to me.
On Saturday, I went to my friends house for a good old crafting session, we were thin on the ground this month as Margaret is still away, Margaret 2 was baby sitting and Jane was poorly.
It was very quiet without them and I really missed them all.
Though I did have more space to craft on LOL!!!! ( I am a bit of a messy crafter)
I am always dragging loads of bags and wheelie bags when we go to our craft sessions, I decided to set myself a challenge and only take scraps of card and a few white card blanks,a few stamp sets and my Ribbon bag (I have a ribbon fetish and have two! Yes that's right two large e-z pulls full of bundled ribbon)
Not to mention the spools of ribbon LOL!!!!
I made 3 and a half cards with my scraps, I finished one when I got home and made another one.
Feeling proud, Yep I sure am.
It feels good to use those scraps of mine. I will post pictures soon.
Happy Stampin'

HHHMMM time flies
Wow it has been ages since I last blogged, how did that happen I hear you ask? Well life and work happened.
I have been busy in my *normal Job* But I also work for my Local craft shop demonstrating and leading workshops for them. I also have been traveling the country demonstrating at craft shows as well, So I have been a busy girl!
Last week my DS's Gf lost her Dad to cancer, such a horrible disease, as some of you may know I lost my Dad last year to this disgusting and vile disease. My son asked me if I could make a card for him, to give to his GF, I of course said yes.
The style of the card is called an Easel card.
The sentiment is computer generated! and the Damask Stamp is by Stampin Up.
I used Mellow Moss and Pale plum as the main colours and there is a bit of Very Vanilla.
The ribbon is one I picked up at the Haberdashers in Whitstable and the punch is a Martha Stewart, I also used the Large Square Scallop and the Large Plain Sqare Nesties and I also used my Cuttlebug to create the embossing on the background using the Textile Folder.
Please let me know what you think of them.
Happy Stampin'
Barbara
