Distress Oxide are sooooo nice.

Hi all,

Well, it has been a long time hasn't it, I'm  sorry about that.

Any how, back to the title of this post, as many of you know good old Tim has done it again, brought out a new product that all us crafters want to get our crafty little hands on!

I managed to get me little ole crafty hands on a set of the new Oxide Inks, oh boy are they fun to use.

I scooted over to Youtube to watch a load of videos so I could gather as much info as I can on these great ink pads. They are really different to the original Distress inks, these have a more muted, softer look.

These inks blend like a dream. Creating a smooth, almost chalk like feel to them even though they are not a chalk based ink.

Here are a few pictures of what I have done so far, I am sure there will be more coming soon!

The picture below has been made using Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink and Perfect Pearl Spray.

Here is a picture to show you what the reaction looks like when you sprinkle water on top of the Distress Oxide ink.

I made a quick tag, using Tim Holtz Mini Stencils, Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet. I also used a stamp set by Tim Holtz called Flower Garden.

Well I hope you have a good day, I am off now to play some more.
