Cuttlebug Quilling.

Is so much fun.

My LSS gave me a set to have a play with and to make samples, I was a bit unsure at first as I remember trying this craft a few years ago and giving up; as to be honest I was completely pants at it LOL, but no more with this nifty gadget I can make beautiful flowers really easily.

Here is one I made yesterday. Sorry for the bad picture, I have installed a different operating system and when I tried to get the images off my Camera, it threw me as it was a different process.

Enjoy

I am so sad..........

My Cuttlebug has gone to Cuttlebug heaven........

This is one tool I use frequently, in fact every day he gets used to make a card with. I bought Colin home when they first came to our shores.

Many Thanks for reading this

Wow...........

I am on the home page of UK Scrappers, for the card that I made for my Son's Girlfriend!

I have never had anything like this before. Thanks Jane for pointing this out to me.

On Saturday, I went to my friends house for a good old crafting session, we were thin on the ground this month as Margaret is still away, Margaret 2 was baby sitting and Jane was poorly.

It was very quiet without them and I really missed them all.

Though I did have more space to craft on LOL!!!! ( I am a bit of a messy crafter)

I am always dragging loads of bags and wheelie bags when we go to our craft sessions, I decided to set myself a challenge and only take scraps of card and a few white card blanks,a few stamp sets and my Ribbon bag (I have a ribbon fetish and have two! Yes that's right two large e-z pulls full of bundled ribbon)
Not to mention the spools of ribbon LOL!!!!

I made 3 and a half cards with my scraps, I finished one when I got home and made another one.

Feeling proud, Yep I sure am.

It feels good to use those scraps of mine. I will post pictures soon.

Happy Stampin'

HHHMMM time flies

Wow it has been ages since I last blogged, how did that happen I hear you ask? Well life and work happened.

I have been busy in my *normal Job* But I also work for my Local craft shop demonstrating and leading workshops for them. I also have been traveling the country demonstrating at craft shows as well, So I have been a busy girl!

Last week my DS's Gf lost her Dad to cancer, such a horrible disease, as some of you may know I lost my Dad last year to this disgusting and vile disease. My son asked me if I could make a card for him, to give to his GF, I of course said yes.

The style of the card is called an Easel card.

The sentiment is computer generated! and the Damask Stamp is by Stampin Up.

I used Mellow Moss and Pale plum as the main colours and there is a bit of Very Vanilla.
The ribbon is one I picked up at the Haberdashers in Whitstable and the punch is a Martha Stewart, I also used the Large Square Scallop and the Large Plain Sqare Nesties and I also used my Cuttlebug to create the embossing on the background using the Textile Folder.

Please let me know what you think of them.

Happy Stampin'

Uggghhhh I hate my craft room!

It is cluttered messy and I cannot find a thing. I wish there was a crafting version of Kim and Aggie, I would love somebody to help me organise and clean up this sad and messy craft room.

The problem is I have loads of different "Hobbies" Scrapbooking, Cardmaking Cross Stitching, Jewellery mkaing and Art Journalling. They are all jumbled up in here and I finding it really difficult to concentrate.

So if anybody out there wants to come over to mine for the day and help you are more than welcome!!!!!

Anyhow, it is half term here and the kids are on their computers doing what kids do. Me; I am sitting here in my room contemplating what to do next, I have done the weeks shopping online, being delivered tommorow.

Last week I went with my friend Jane to the new Hobby craft that has opened up in Thanet, it's OK but some of the prices I felt were on the dear side. I did manage to get some clear christmas baubles that I have got plans for, so watch this space.

How can one make so much mess

Ok I had an order from my friend for christening card and a wedding card, when would she like them I ask her, "oh this Saturday" she replies. Yikes I have only got two days to make them.

Challenge set, I came up with these. Now I find it very difficult to make christening cards at the best of times, it's not bad, but I feel as though I could of done better.

The wedding card took slightly longer as there are a lot of layers to it. I used Stampin up cardstock, inks and Nestabilities by Spellbinders

Holiday and a moan.............

Well I am back from my Hols, spent a really nice week in the South of France, soaking up the sun and just relaxing. I even found time to do some of my Cross stitch !

Now for the Moan, I'm sorry I have to get this off my chest: Smokers and Stash.

Just recently I bought a long awaited cartridge for my cricut, I opened the VERY well wrapped package, to be met by a stained silicone mat and a pungent smell of smoke, so bad in fact that I needed to use my Inhaler.

This was not from EBay but from a forum, yes I know that there is no comeback so to speak, but we can leave feedback. Now my dilemma is do I PM the seller and say politely that her stash stinks or just leave it and not leave a feedback at all?
What would you do?
